How many sessions would I need?
The number of sessions depends on what it is that you are coming to counselling for.   I offer short term (which can be up to 12 sessions) and longer term therapy (up to 5 years).  We would work together to see what seems to be the right amount of time, based on what you want to work on and your current situation. Ideally, counselling ends when the issue(s) that trouble you are manageable or are resolved.

How much will it cost?
Individual Counselling: First two sessions cost £25 per session;
after that each session costs £45

Payment is at the start of each session by cash only.

How long do sessions last?
Individual Counselling:
The first session is a consultation which can take from about 30 mins to 1 hour;
after that each session lasts 50 minutes.

Who are you regulated by?
I am a member of the following organisations and follow their code of ethics:
British Association of Counselling and Psychotherapy (BACP);
United Kingdom Council for Psychotherapy;
European Association of Transactional Analysis (EATA) and
United Kingdom Association for Transactional Analysis
In following the codes of these organisations, I am regularly required to present my work in clincial supervision.
